Wes Long Joins Stone Bank as Loan Officer

Wes Long, of Tichnor, has joined Stone Bank as a loan officer at the bank’s DeWitt and Gillett locations. He most recently owned and operated Ultimate Ag/SmartCrop Consulting, a private consulting firm representing 24,000 acres. He was also associated with RiceTec, Inc. in Jonesboro, AR.

David Jessup, Arkansas County Market President and Senior Trust Officer of Stone Bank, said “We’re very pleased to add a new agri/commercial lender of Wes’s caliber to our team in DeWitt and Gillett. Wes has deep roots in Arkansas County and a very comprehensive understanding of the borrowing needs of our farmers. Long is a graduate of Arkansas State University and received a

Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture Business with major in Marketing and Management. He currently serves as president of the Arkansas County Farm Bureau Board of Directors. Long is also a Member of the USA Rice Federation Domestic Promotion Board and the USA Rice Federation Communications Committee. He is also a member of the Gillett Farmers and Businessman Association and the USA Rice Federation.

Long also serves as a member of the Gillett United Methodist Church and the Tichnor Volunteer Fire Department.

Stone Bank has offices in Little Rock, DeWitt, Gillett, Mountain View, Harrison, and White Hall.
