SCAM Alert: Phony Phone Calls From DDF, January 2026

You'd be surprised by how convincing a vishing (voicemail phishing scam) can sound. Stone Bank is committed to keeping you and your account safe from scammers. That's why we're sharing REAL scams so you know what to look out for. 

ABOUT THE SCAM 

The following is a SCAM voicemail claiming to represent a consulting group claiming that there were some issues with wire transfers related to Stone Bank.  You can listen below:

Do not call the number that left the voicemail. Do not provide them with any banking information. This is NOT a legitimate call.

This is an attempt to trick you into calling a fake number and providing sensitive information that can be used to access your account.

WHAT DO I LOOK OUT FOR? 

If you receive an unexpected phone call from someone you don’t personally recognize claiming to be a Stone Bank representative, DO NOT PROVIDE ANY SENSITIVE INFORMATION such as: 

❌  Your Bank Login and Password 

❌  Your Bank Account Number 

❌  Your Social Security Number 

❌  Your PIN
